the Photo Process

what does the client experience look like?

It looks like us using your preferred method of communication to talk details about the session before booking. It also looks like questionnaires and communication so we can give you the best experience possible. Grabbing a cup of coffee or hopping in a Zoom meeting to get to know each other before shooting. It looks like us working directly with you to ensure you resonate with the art we'll be making. Once a contract is signed we get to work building you a mood board inspired by you, which we will use to guide us when we take you shopping to source clothes for your session

Then? Shoot day! We'll meet up at our determined time to start shooting. Sessions last between 4 - 6 hours on average and include snack and water breaks. Once we've wrapped up, we will give you time to rest and recover and River will pop the memory card into the computer, and prepare some preliminary edits to give you an idea of what to expect. Once you are ready we will all sit down together to talk you through the process of choosing your artwork. After images are selected, prints and albums ordered, and you head out River will get to work behind the scenes editing and working her magic.

Then, ta-da! Delivery day! We prefer delivering in person whenever possible, but we know that this won't work for everyone. We have discreet shipping options available for those who live less-than-locally, but if you're in the area we'll meet up at either the studio, your house, or a coffee shop, and we'll have a little reveal! Delivery day is always the most exciting, but I would guess that River's favourite part is the photos our clients send of the art hung on their walls.
